Let us say that every human being has the right to express their own thoughts. Let us also say they have the freedom to choose their way of life—and the means of expression that follow from it. As a young man, guided by a deep loyalty to my own intuition, I made decisions that have led me to become the painter I am today—an artist who translates the language of the world into one that is uniquely his own. I can only hope that this language remains comprehensible to others.

My painting is rooted in the life that surrounds us. Everything can serve as inspiration, yet time and experience inevitably shift the focus of my attention. The only constant—at times difficult, but always pure—is a childlike essence, which I see as the true source of creative force.

All loves and hatreds, sorrows torn apart by laughter, moments of wonder entangled with fear—when blended with paint—form the truest definition of my art. For me, painting is the greatest fulfillment life has offered.
